LEGENDARY HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL
COACH BOB MILLOY TO BE HONORED AT GOOD COUNSEL ON SATURDAY, FEB. 10
Bob Milloy, who has won more games as a high school football coach than anyone in Maryland history, will be honored on Saturday, Feb. 10, as Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney recognizes his 47 years of coaching at the “Coach Bob Milloy Roast and Toast.” Former players and coaches that he was worked with — and coached against — as well as his students and community members are invited to attend the tribute.
Good Counsel High School is located at 17301 Old Vic Boulevard in Olney. The evening that promises to be filled with surprises and special guests to celebrate Coach Milloy’s many accomplishments will include a cocktail reception in the school’s main lobby from 5 to 7 p.m., with the roast to follow in the school’s main auditorium. Tickets are $30 and are available online olgchs.org/bobmilloy. The event seating is limited and is close to capacity. For more details about the event, contact Lauren Costello, Good Counsel’s director of auxiliary programs, at lcostello@olgchs.org or at 240-283-3218.
