Dear members of the FFC,

If you've noticed we've been a bit MIA over the last few months, here's why: we started a new job! Author Jessica Bennett took on a new perch as the first-ever gender editor of the New York Times—5 days after the Weinstein story broke—and FFC social media extraordinaire Sharon Attia joined last month as her news assistant. We’ve got lots of projects in the works, but the first one is a popup newsletter, The #MeToo Moment. It comes weekly; you can read back issues here and sign up here.

In the FFC world, the fight is alive and well—and, of course, feels more necessary than ever. Here are a few highlights from the past year:

FFC was updated in paperback, as well as in Korea, France, Germany and the UK. Coming soon to Spain, Italy, Poland and Turkey.

We also launched a campus ambassador program, which kicked off at Colorado State University this fall. (Want to start a fight club on your campus? Here's a guide!)
Jessica wrote articles on women-focused dating apps, programs to teach college students how to fail, the nuances of digital laughter, the #metoo moment, the complexities of consent and more.
We hung out with rad feminists in Indiana, marched on Washington, visited St. Louis and are headed to Toronto, San Francisco, and Boston soon. (Want to find author Jessica Bennett for an upcoming event? You can check for updates here.)
We had an exhibit featuring the girls of She Fights, a ~real~ feminist fight club in NYC. Photos by our very own Sharon Attia.
We piloted a podcast and (fingers crossed!) a television show. We also made some more merch
We reached 100k Instagram followers! We also vision boarded (below).

We couldn’t have done any of it without our fellow fighters and sisters-in-arms: you. If you haven’t already, please sign up for our NYT newsletter here

With a raised fist,
Jessica Bennett & the FFC
