In Other News...
On the 10th of January 2018, Fair Life Africa celebrated seven years of service to humanity! We sent out invitations for our volunteers and sponsors to join the FLA Team for a lovely meal at the Blackbell Restaurant in Lekki. We were also blessed with a birthday cake donated by Bakers World Cakes. It was a lovely day to celebrate ourselves and our friends who have brought us so far.
This year, we are looking to engage our Volunteers better. We admit that we haven't been very good about including volunteers, and we have taken advantage of Whatsapp technology to improve communications and engagement with our volunteers. There are many teams you can join, including Social Media and PR, Education and Vocational Support, Crisis Intervention and Implementation and Design and Technology. We are happy to report that all our kids are doing great at home, and through the generosity of our donors, sponsors and partners, we have been able to settle all their school fees too. We sent out our quarterly reports to our child sponsors in January. We were delighted as always to read their positive feedback.
