Warmathon Returns February 15 & 16

The Warmathon is a two-day radio/telethon from which all proceeds benefit local families in need. The 10th annual event will be held on February 15 & 16, 2018. Tune in to NewsRadio 1020 KDKA from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days to make a donation, receive great incentives, and help families and seniors in our area stay warm this winter.

Dollar Energy Fund hosted its 4th Annual Cool Down for Warmth event in Market Square on January 25 & 26, 2018. The two-day event raised more than $217,500, all with the help of local business leaders, sponsors, utility partners and many generous community individuals. The amount raised will provide assistance for approximately 625 Pittsburgh families and individuals who are struggling to afford safe utility service this winter.

On January 13, 2018, during the team's 4-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings, the Pittsburgh Penguins wore specialty jerseys with a Dollar Energy Fund and Peoples Natural Gas patch sewn inside. These game-worn jerseys and mini-helmets are being auctioned off to support Dollar Energy Fund and benefit Peoples customers in need of assistance. All jerseys have the option to be autographed and a few lucky winners can participate in a meet and greet. The auction ends soon so keep bidding!
