February Town Council Meeting
The February Town Council meeting has officially been moved to TUESDAY, February 13, 2018, due to conflicts with Council for the normal meeting date.

Pickup Schedule
Trash in Roll Cart
As required by 51.03 Part A Section 3.a of our Code of Ordinance,
"Garbage, market refuse, general rubbish, and ashes shall be placed in tied plastic bags before being placed in the roll-out container that is on the premises for storage."
Trash put in roll carts MUST be bagged. We will be strictly enforcing this ordinance. If there is trash in a roll cart that is not bagged, the roll cart will not be dumped.
Leaf Season
This is a reminder that our leaf pick-up season ends March 31st!
Be Well in Pendleton
Clemson is helping Pendleton "BE WELL" by offering fun, beginner-friendly fitness classes and social wellness activities for Pendleton's 55+ residents. This program is currently a free program to all participants. This group meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am-10:00am at the Pendleton United Methodist Church. You can pre-register at Pendleton Town Hall or just show up to a class and register!
Upkeep of Sidewalks
According to Section 91.05 of our Code of Ordinance, it is the property owner's responsibility to keep the sidewalk in front of their property clean.
Section 91.05 states, 
"No person may cause or allow on premises under his or her control, including curbs, rights-of-way, roadside ditches on all sides of the property, one-half of alleyways, and grass strips from the sidewalk abutting such premises, any overgrowth of weeds, grasses, or other plants or bushes, noxious growth or overhanging shrubbery, trash, garbage, offal, stagnant water, building materials, glass, wood, or other matte that becomes or threatens to become a fire hazard, harboring place for rats, mice, snakes, or other vermin, or otherwise poses a danger to the public health or safety."

Little Free Library
Girl Scout Troop 591 have created two Little Free Libraries in town!
One in the town square and the other at Veterans Park. This is a place for people to come find a book to read and then bring it back to get another one when they are done. You can also bring books to donate to the little libraries for others to enjoy! To learn more about Little Free Libraries see the link below!

Important notice to our customers paying their utility bill online:

It appears customers paying their utility bill online may be using a third party, by the name of Doxo, to process their Town of Pendleton utility payments. The Town of Pendleton does not use this company to process online payments through the Town’s website. When paying your Town of Pendleton utility bill online, please be sure you are accessing the payment site through the Town’s website at www.townofpendleton.org showing our payment provider as MyGovHub. The Town of Pendleton only charges a $1 fee to process payments while this third party is charging customers a $3.99 fee.
