Artist Representation Program!
Art Shape Mammoth is a community of artists developing an alternative organizational model. Our representation program is nontraditional, with a focus on engaging with one another, being involved in the community, and acting as resources for one another. Our mission is to connect artists to new communities and support the development of artistic practice, dialogue, education, and research through creative public exchange.

Our 2-Year Artist Representation Program offers thoughtfully curated exhibitions and visiting-artist opportunities nationwide, giving artists an opportunity to exhibit throughout the country.  We work with each artist individually, identifying goals and striving to place their work in appropriate venues.

Summer Residency!

OUR 5TH ANNUAL SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES SYMPOSIUM IS JULY 28TH - AUGUST 10TH, 2018!

Visitor Center Artist Camp is a near-wilderness artist residency site in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We seek to combine wilderness living and resourcefulness with a contemporary art making practice and a conversation around self-sufficiency and collaboration. Our goal is to promote creativity and ingenuity through sculpture and building workshops focused on local materials and accessible processes, do-it-yourself practices, collaborative design, and a discussion of sustainability in art and in life.

Transitional Spaces, Mercy Gallery
Windsor, Conneticut
Transitional Spaces, an exhibition of drawings and sculpture by artists Cori Champagne, Joan Harmon, and Lindsey Wolkowicz, will be presented in the Sue and Eugene Mercy Jr. Gallery from January 9 through February 9, 2018.
According to the artists’ statement, “transitional space is defined as space between an interior and exterior, acting as both a boundary and a link between states of being or surrounds.” Through their artwork, the three artists represent “identities, bodies, and boundaries in a state of transition,” which incorporates objects from daily human life. Their intent, according to their statement, is to “create spaces that feel familiar and impossible, substantive and impermanent” to observers.
For more information, including gallery hours, connect to the Mercy Gallery webpage.

Mercy Gallery is located at The Loomis Chaffee School, 4 Batchelder Rd, Windsor, CT 06095.
