Dead tree removal along Cherry Creek Greenway corridor to begin late winter, early spring

The City and County of Denver, Arapahoe County Open Space, Denver Water, and Urban Drainage and Flood Control District will be implementing a vegetation management effort along the Cherry Cheek Greenway corridor downstream of Cherry Creek Reservoir between Iliff Avenue and Quebec Street.

The purpose of this work will be to remove dead, invasive, and “weed” species trees in order to improve the ecological health and function of the corridor.

This vegetation management effort will occur in the late Winter/early Spring of 2018 with additional efforts likely occurring in the Fall of 2018 and/or Winter of 2019. For more information, please contact Cincere Eades at Cincere.Eades@denvergov.org.
