Grade 12 Project Presentations - THIS SUNDAY
1:00 pm at the Grade School Campus

The Grade Twelve Projects are a representation of what our striving, creative students have come to, in a specific area of interest, out of the ideals and the foundation of Waldorf education. The projects are assessed from several points of view. Teachers evaluate research and writing skills, originality of thinking, the manifestation of ideas and concepts, oral presentation and the ability to answer questions based on the student’s research, as well as project’s artistic and practical components.

TWIN DAY

POLICY REVIEW

You may have noticed the additional cones in our driveway. The cones are in place as a reminder that parking in this lane is prohibited. The driveway needs to be accessible by our school bus, which transports students throughout the day but, also serves as an access lane for emergency vehicles. When cars are stopped or parked in this lane it is impossible for the school bus, a fire truck, or an ambulance to pass. Thank you for your understanding.

Our students’ safety is as important to us as their education. We take great care in ensuring that our playgrounds are sound and safe, and all our equipment is carefully maintained and adequately supervised. Our main area of concern regarding safety is our parking area. Please read our parking guidelines carefully and commit to abiding by our parking rules. These are in place to protect all children from potential harm.

Waldorf Alumni Group

Are you a VWS alumn/a? Join our Facebook group and reconnect with old friends, classmates and teachers! link While there, find the post pinned to the top of the group inviting graduates from 1990-2017 to complete the lastest AWSNA Alumni Survey.
I hope you were able to come out to enjoy the Chinese New Year Celebration at the Grade School this afternoon (Friday, March 2). Parents have been working tirelessly to bring together the many components to make it a success.

Each year I'm blown away by what the Grade 12 students are up to. Their topics, ability to speak publicly with confidence, professionalism behind the scenes, artistic interpretations of their topics, and more. This is a must see to get a sense of what our students are capable of by the time they reach 12th Grade. Please come support them at 1:00 pm this Sunday, March 4 at the Grade School.

While VWS Seniors are presenting this Sunday, Grade 8 students are prepping for their Project Presentations a week later on March 12 & 13! But more on that next time.
Many blessings
