Spiritual Outliers
 
Those who achieve the extraordinary, are usually the most ordinary, who truly believe they are somebody. They have quit following everybody, because they have nothing to prove to anybody. It’s when we quit comparing and start aspiring that we are truly transformed, spiritual outliers.

We live in a world of phonies and pretenders. The poser gets the attention of all. Copy cats and mimics abound. But, the spiritual outlier is the one who gets on his or her face and appeals to heaven for wisdom, guidance and power and gets the abject attention of God.

The mantra of the spiritual outlier is, “The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you.” (2 Chronicles 15:2, NKJV). They push the kingdom of God forward.

Spiritual outliers aren’t satisfied with the status quo, get antsy with pat answers and find themselves more interested in truth than the party line. Jesus seemed to like this odd type—he chose twelve of them in order to reorder the world.
