Dear praying friends:

Last week I was able to serve with Pastor Mark Stevens and the Calvary Baptist Church family in Fort Walton Beach, Florida for a five day revival meeting. What a great five days it was.  Each service was a special one and the people gladly received God’s Word. I am looking forward to being with them again and again!

Micah Self is still doing gospel work in India.  He has been traveling and preaching non-stop for weeks and souls are certainly being saved. We haven’t been able to correspond a great deal, but here is a sketch of some of the texts he has sent to me:

“On the way up a narrow winding road. Pray for no accidents. Doing well in all fronts. Very blessed service last night with several children saved. Was able to pray with some young men called as missionaries . . .”

“the place I am now is not very sanitary and I am [ill] . . . the people in this area are very uneducated and need Jesus . . .  even the Christians are very fleshly and very liberal and have unity but little doctrine or wisdom.  Living conditions are very crude. Food is basic. But the people are happy.”

“I have a five hour mountain drive and preaching two days for a youth camp.”

“Four teens were saved today and several college students as well.”

“It’s almost 9pm Tuesday and I’ve already preached 13 times this week and played Cricket.”

“People are responding to the gospel.”

“The music in Africa is better than here lol.”

Hope these are a blessing to you just like they were to me.  Please keep praying for Micah. Ask God to give him good health and to enable him to sleep!  He often has trouble sleeping and this trip has been very difficult in that area.  Would you also pray for his financial needs?  He has some support and our ministry is covering as much of the rest of his needs as we can. Neither of us are complaining but both of us would appreciate your prayers concerning this matter.  We still need to raise about $1500 per month!

This weekend I will head to Palm Bay Florida to partner with Faith Baptist Church for a time of renewal and revival. Would you pray with me about this meeting?  I would certainly be grateful.
