How's the market?
Perth market snapshot
as at 20th Feb 2017.  Source: reiwa.com.au
Sales activity in the Perth metro market declined by 5% to 597 transactions. This can be summarised by a 3% decrease in sales for houses, a 21% decrease in unit sales, and a 20% decrease in vacant land sales.

Properties listed across Perth increased over the week to 14,005. Listings for houses UP by 2%, units DOWN by 2% and vacant land DOWN by 1%. The total number of listings recorded this week is 4% HIGHER than levels seen four weeks ago, but are 5% LOWER compared to the same time last year.

Total properties available for rent fell over the week to 8,459. This is 7% lower in comparison to four weeks ago and is 18% lower than the same time last year. The vacancy rate has eased to 5.5% down from a peak of 7.0% in mid-2017.
