Reeling from their best friend's death, a group of women face what their lives look like in the aftermath. In the wake of loss, they each attempt to answer seemingly unanswerable questions: Who will give the eulogy? Will they ever be able to live alone?  Why did that girl’s brother show up?

Queens' Vernacular presents

Short Animations by Sierra Tucker

Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
Pickford Film Center

Free admission

Directions

This month's Queens’ Vernacular screening is a program of short animations by the incredibly talented Sierra Tucker, a Studio Art major. She will be present for a Q+A after the screening.

Read a brief overview of the six videos in the program and an interview with Sierra by Greg Youmans

Sierra’s art is trippy, dazzling, funny, and humane. While her style of animation is stunningly eclectic, a strong current of 1990s fashion, video-game, anime, and rave iconography runs through the work.
