Cancelled! FCCLA District 6
The Tennessee FCCLA District 6 STAR Event Conference at Tennessee Tech University, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 16, has been cancelled due to illness related district closings. In following our policy on school closings, at least 20% of participating schools must close or the host county of the respective event must close schools before an FCCLA event is cancelled. Putnam County Schools, where Tennessee Tech University is located, has closed schools. We also have more than 20% of the schools in District 6 currently closed. Thus, the Tennessee FCCLA District 6 STAR Event Conference is subsequently cancelled.
All students scheduled to attend the District 6 STAR Event will automatically be permitted to compete at the State Leadership Conference in that event.
