Happy Valentine's Day!
I’ll admit it. I really do love all things entrepreneurship. I started my day today (and every Wednesday this month) at 1 Million Cups, an event for local entrepreneurs to meet and present their startups to the thriving peer network of founders in Kansas City. This month we’re highlighting Black owned businesses in our community and I’m proud that SEED Law is a partner in this initiative. I’ll be participating on a panel and moderating on the 28th. I’d love to see you out!
I’d be remiss if I did not begin with a heartfelt thank you for a fruitful second year in business in 2017. We welcomed more clients into the SEED Law team, offered over 20 educational events about legal implications of business decisions, continued our SEED Law Community Office Hours program, and received several awards for our efforts. This would not have been possible without a great group of clients and partners like you.
For 2018, we want to continue to earn your business and provide high quality legal services. We’ve added two new attorneys to our legal team, with expertise in intellectual property and tax law, to compliment our general business law, employment, and litigation services. We’ll continue teaching classes on business law topics, including a Business Law workshop on March 22nd and a continued partnership with organizations like the Mid-Continent Public Library and KC BizCare.
