The Essence of Yoga- a Beginner's Series is starting again!
This workshop is for anyone who wants to begin a yoga practice, wants to enhance their practice, or just wants to learn more about the practice of yoga.
The workshop will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm starting March13th. We will meet seven times, each time exploring an anatomical principle that will help you learn safe, effective yoga that fits your body. This is real yoga for real people.
We will explore yoga breathing techniques which will improve your health overall and can be used to reduce stress, calm down and relax the body. Other breath techniques can be used to energize the body, such as during your mid-afternoon energy slump.
We'll also discuss simple yogic concepts that will blossom with your practice. You'll learn that yoga is more than just the poses.
The workshop includes support videos and handouts, plus unlimited access to all classes on the schedule.
