In the exhibition with Ralph van Meijgaard and Geert Baas at the WTC Rotterdam Art Gallery I will present some new pieces, a series of paintings in egg-tempera on linen.
The exhibition opens on Sunday the 11th of March 2018 from 16.00 to 18.00 hrs, with an opening speech by Hugo Bongers, publicist at 16.30 hrs. The exhibition runs until April 18th 2018.

The Art Gallery has a new location; located in the main lobby of WTC Rotterdam, entrance through the main entrance. The exhibition is to visit during office hours and on weekends. The gallery is staffed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 12.00 to 17.00 hrs. and by appointment.

mural painting
In response to the sadly, unrealized mural in my last newsletter I received some lovely feedback, and thus also by MURALS Inc., to be listed on their website.
MURALS Inc., an initiative of visual artist Marleen van Wijngaarden and architect Peter Couwenbergh, is a consulting agency specializing in leading-edge wall paintings.
The painting with the design for the unrealized mural wil be in the exhibition at the WTC Art Gallery from March 11th to April 18th 2018.

reflectie, troost, doorgeven
The publication REFLECTIE, TROOST, DOORGEVEN (reflection, consolation, pass forward) provides an overview of the fourth 100 acquisitions for the DELA art collection. Four of my works are included in the art collection of DELA and also appeared in this book with a nice personal story of employee Hester, of crematorium Waalstede in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

publication
In 2008 I created and released the publication 'been everywhere, seen everything'. At the moment I am working on a new publication, I had a brainstorming session with Geeke Voortman of [Wie Maakt Het] and I am trying out different ideas. The quest is to have design of the book as closely as possible to the intention of my work. The choice of the works which should be included, choice of paper, binding techniques etc. In the next newsletter more about this development.

id11 project space
As a curator and organizer I am involved in artists initiative id11. In January 2018 id11 started to use the former stable of the farm as a project space and invited artist Wies Noest to realize (new) work.
In the period January to June 2018 id11 invites every last week of the month one artist to use the project space to work on her or his project, with a presentation on the last Saturday and Sunday of the month. id11 offers the artist the opportunity to use the space for a week, to experiment and try things out. The former stable lends itself particularly well for installations and site-specific work.
In February visual artist Rosa Everts is invited to realize (new) work. Rosa Everts is, after a short working period on the farm, presenting her work on Saturday the 24th of February from 13.00-17.00 hrs. and Sunday the 25th of February from 13.00-16.00 hrs., with on Sunday followed by the Moo Sessions #14 with a (semi) acoustic performance of Esther de Jong.
Rosa is both days present to talk about her work.
