Kite.pride has moved UP! Upstairs that is! We have been given the greatest opportunity to expand and flourish by being able to move up two floors to the rooftop. As you can see by the pictures and videos below, it was an intense and tiring time during the moving process, but so gratifying and well worth it. We now have more space and natural light for better working conditions for both our employees and volunteers. This move has also decreased our overhead costs so that we can later be more able to translate such a great savings back into our people here. We are so excited to see how each and every person involved and also how the business of kite.pride begins to grow, progress, and become even more successful in the future.  Thanks for partnering with us and making opportunities like this possible. One of our employees who just celebrated her one year anniversary with us was recently accepted to the Tel Aviv University to study Psychology. We are so very proud of her for overcoming such great obstacles of her past to get where she is today, and we are thankful to you for your support-through the foundation you helped make this new step in life possible for her.

We have amazing stories we want to share with our donors! Allana* was brought to us along with her 7 year old son 11 months ago, rescued by two ladies from the same small town where she was held by the trafficker. These women noticed that every time she would come to a small shop she was not talking, not making eye contact, and showed clear signs of abuse. They went to where she was being held and rescued her and her son. One of the ladies who was 72 years old took Allana* and her son to her own apt and at midnight they got on a bus to Bucharest.  Once there we took them to the shelter. The 72 year old lady who had been on the bus all night long would not come with us for a coffee but instead held my hands and through tears said: "Honey, don't you worry about me. Thank God with me that they are both now safe and in good care". We paid for a course with the best company in Romania that helped Allana* reach her greatest dream of baking. She was top of her class, and during her internship one of the best bakeries in the city took her in and then hired her. She got promoted and is doing absolutely amazing. Her biggest dream is to open her own bakery! She is saving every penny so she can get her own studio apt. Her son is top of his class and wants to be a lawyer so he can put the bad guys behind bars. We cry for joy and gratitude with them over this amazing miracle!
