Conjunto Musical Tradicional Kusi Ñan

See any familiar faces? You might recognize these beautiful young men and women from Kusi Kawsay's first graduating class who went on to found the Kusi Ñan Farm and begin their own traditional Andean music group.  We are so inspired and proud of our incredible youth.

Let's support their fundraising efforts to cover the costs of their trip to Ecuador for one month to perform their music and share their culture. This trip will help them, and their community, grow their cultural networks and strengthen their bonds of solidarity with other indigenous communities.

The Kusi Ñan youth are walking in the footsteps of their ancestors and keeping their ancient culture alive. They have continued the cultural revival work of their parents and other elders of their community, who formed the traditional Andean music group Wiñay Taki, and who have served as an inspiration for these youth to follow in their footsteps and continue this important work to revitalize their ancestral culture and protect and preserve their way of life.
