2018 AGM updates

Please put the following date in your diary for your AGM.

Tuesday 13th March 2018 starting at 2.00pm to be held at

Holiday Inn Southampton

Herbert Walker Avenue

Southampton , SO15 1AG

The attached image shows it is just down the road from Town Quay where we held previous years AGMs. The hotel has free parking
you must take a car park ticket on entry barrier and then we give you an exit pass to leave without paying

Enter the main hotel reception and the check in desk is front of you, to the right there are double doors to conference rooms and we have the Winchester meeting room.

Coffees/teas/water will be available

This year we will be starting an online video conference option for you to join in from your office etc.

As indicated in a previous newsletter you will be given access to the online process

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

This is your chance to see what your committee have been doing for you and also a chance to catch up with colleagues.

The meeting commences at 2pm We will be sending out the agenda and papers on emails soon prior to the AGM. If you have any items for AGM please email us on email in above paragraph

The Register is available in short-form format and at marina reception areas allowing potential charterers to confirm that the boat they have chartered is legal and safe

For Sale Section

As you will have seen from our recent newsletter update, we now have a facility on the PCA website to buy and sell boats and chandlery. This has now also been extended to include members voucher offers and also an enhanced selling page for those wanting more attention.

Please make use of this new facility to sell or buy. As products are added the website will slowly pick up more traffic hits from the internet. This takes a while but we hope to see more hits as well as sales. This we also hope will increase flow of views to charter work and members gaining more enquiries for work. Again we will monitor this and report back probably at the AGM.
We have costed this fairly for members at half the cost of non members.
