The gut microbiota translational event of the year is almost here! Join us for a weekend in beautiful Rome for the Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit, March 11th and 12th.

Gut microbiota science is a fast-moving field, with new papers being published on a daily basis. Our blog post below describes the broad strokes of how the field has evolved in 2017.

"Research on gut microbes is today a leading topic in science, and all these novelties need to be translated to medicine for a better understanding of health and the imbalances that lead to disease," says Francisco Guarner, Chair of 2018 GMFH Scientific Committee. He and his colleagues on the committee have put together a one-of-a-kind program for the Gut Summit 2018, covering everything from interactions between diet and microbes in the human gut to the promising new science on cancer and gut microbiota. The focused workshops led by global experts will cover topics like irritable bowel syndrome and gut microbiota targets in nutrition.

Don't forget -- the final registration deadline for the conference is February 28th! You can also follow all the Gut Summit action via Twitter -- #GMFH2018
