If you've been thinking that it's been awhile since you last heard from us, you're not mistaken! We have been busier than ever managing the Elderly and Hypertension Projects, continuing to network with other amazing organizations serving in Haiti, developing community health education initiatives, and planning for the construction of our new building.

For those of you who follow us on social media, we hope that you enjoyed the daily updates we provided during our last trip to Haiti in February. The highlights of our trip included hiring our second nurse, Mirlande, attending her graduation, networking with Midwives for Haiti and the doctors at Onaville Community Health Center, and sharing a meal with all of our granmoun. In our continued commitment to transparency and stewardship, you will receive a narrative trip report via a separate email. As always, we welcome your questions and comments.

Planning is well under way for our multipurpose building in Merger de Sibert and construction will likely be completed by the end of this month. Needless to say, we are crazy excited and also very busy powwowing with the companies and individuals on the ground in Haiti who are literally "raising the roof" on this project. As the building has yet to be named, you will notice that we refer to it as "The Center" in our correspondence and social media posts for the time being. Keep watching your preferred social media feed for progress updates on this life transforming space.

Although our hands have been full, we have certainly not forgotten about the people that make all of these things possible - YOU! With over a year of experience officially under our belt, we have spent a lot of time discussing how we can be more effective and efficient in communicating with you. We want to respect your time (and email inbox!) while still relaying essential information in a timely fashion. In light of this desire and in response to the constructive feedback we've received over the past year, here is how and when you can expect to hear from us in 2018:

1. A quarterly e-newsletter, like this one, in April, July, October and January
2. A short list of Praises and Prayer Requests delivered to your inbox monthly
3. Project specific updates and requests as needs arise
4. Narrative trip reports following each of our trips to Haiti
5. Weekly Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts regarding our projects, employees, populations we serve and Haiti in general

If you are a direct monthly sponsor within the Elderly Project, you will also continue to receive monthly updates regarding your granmoun.

Whether you provided for The Center by attending Transfòme, care for a granmoun via a monthly sponsorship, helped us to purchase the wheel barrow that is being used to deliver supplies or you have simply committed to praying for our work, we appreciate each and every one of you. It continues to be both our pleasure and privilege to be used by God in Haiti, and we can't wait to see what He does next. If it's anything like the past 18 months - trust us. You're going to want to stay tuned.
