The FSA have advised APHA of a secondment opportunity for Port Health Officers as an Imports Surveillance Officer.
The secondee will continued to be employed by the local authority/ port but will work for the Food Standards Agency 3-5 days a week. The Food Standards Agency will provide a contribution towards expenses of pay, employer’s National Insurance, employer’s pension and any travel and accommodation expenses of the equivalent of £31,386.25 per annum pro rata.
