Small changes make a big difference

How distruptive can the impact of small everyday actions? Like growing food in your garden and encouraging people to take it for free. Like helping people fixing broken objects and like choosing to buy sustainable and fairtrade to make sure producers get a fair price. Chances are that it can turn into a revolution. And a gentle one.

What can you trigger if you digged out your prized rose garden, plant all sorts of veggies and encourage people to HELP YOURSELF?
A revolution. And a gentle one.
This is what really happened  in the small town of Todmorden (North Yorkshire). Tired of just worrying about how bad the world was, a bunch of women decided to take action. And to do it locally. So, raspberries, carrots and broccoli started to sprung in a front garden, free for anyone to take.
This story is based on trust among people, and it is just so good to know.

What can I do? Toss them? No way, take it to the REPAIR CAFE' where you will find experts in fixing pretty much anything. Out of passion and great know how.

Films, talks, food will give a great insight on this year's theme:
how to improve the effect of UK's Trade Deal and Brexit on the Global South, and the effects of mining metals used to build our technology in Congo, one of the biggest mines in world.
Here is the
full details of events happening.
