Repair Tech Named Chamber Business of the Year

Repair Tech, an industrial contractor located in southern Isle of Wight County, was named 2017 Business of the Year by the Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber of Commerce at its annual meeting on March 1st. The business, owned by brothers Craig, Mike and Nathan Sawyer, began in 1999. Repair Tech services chemical facilities, paper mills, power plants and other construction fields. In recent years, the company diversified by creating Bluewater Rentals, a business that provides portable bathrooms to construction sites and outdoor events. In 2017, Repair Tech purchased Cole Fence, one of the oldest and most experienced residential, commercial and industrial fencing companies in Virginia. The Chamber also praised Repair Tech for its service to the community including the following: supporting high school athletic programs, The Children’s Center and Cancer Care Foundation.
