TRAVELER UPDATE

Hello Everyone !
Well the Ottershaw travelers moved to Pyrford Common on Friday last week. They set up camp in the Pyrford Common playground car park at the the junction of Old Woking Road and Pyrford Common Road. As a result access to the car park and play ground has been blocked since Saturday.
The good news is the authorities are very well aware and, indeed, have made all the arrangements to move the travelers on at 2pm on Tuesday 27th February. That will of course be subject to weather and any other untoward event between now and then but it's clear, from our WBC Neighbourhood Officer, that everything has been done that can be done at the moment..
In addition SERCO will be on hand to clear up after them but users of the common and playground may need to be careful for a while.
Frankly, I'm impressed that WBC have acted so promptly on our behalf and suggest we await events tomorrow before making any further representations to the Council..
