2018 CHS-MC Family Camp will be held from July 15th to the 22nd at Luther Village, near Kenora Ontario. Family Camp is a wonderful opportunity for families to share their experiences raising children with inherited bleeding disorders.
Individualized education for families embarking on home care and self-infusion are offered. Group education for kids with their peers will be held. Don’t forget about frog hunting!
Back again for 2018 are nurse, Rose Jacobson as well as Matthew and Natalie, Manitoba Bleeding Disorders Program physiotherapists! Parents asked for a presentation from Chapter Youth and the Youth Committee is on it! There will be a Q and A for parents and an education session  for the children.
We are still in the planning stages, but we hope to have our World Federation of Hemophilia Twins from Mongolia join us for a day to experience our Camp program. We hope that the visit will help them develop their own camp program!

Registration opens Monday April 2nd at 9:15 am. For all the information, please visit https://goo.gl/9NGZiM

2017 CHS-MC Volunteer Awards

Our Chapter has one staff member. There is no way CHS-MC could provide the variety of programs and services we do, without volunteers. We wouldn't be able to fund our activities without volunteers. In speaking to other not-for-profits in Manitoba and around Canada, this Chapter has an amazing group of talented and dedicated volunteers. We know it is true!
The CHS-MC Volunteer Recognition Program allows us to show our great appreciation for our valued volunteers and allows the Chapter to celebrate their significant contributions. Is there someone who has made a difference to you in the last year? Over many years?
Please consider nominating a member for an award. We have a nomination form that shows you all the amazing people who have been recognized in the past. Who can we thank for their service at the Annual General Meeting on April 14th? Please visit CHS-MC Volunteer Awards to download a nomination form. Send a volunteer some love!

A valued service offered through the Member Services Program is financial support of ambulance service.
