Where:
The far-left lane of Margaret Street will be closed between William and George Streets.

The northbound Margaret Street off-ramp traffic will be merged into one lane before the intersection of William Street.

All other lanes including the southbound Margaret Street off-ramp remain unchanged. Traffic control and signage will be in place to ensure the safety of motorists. See attached map for details.
What to expect:
For safety while the work is being undertaken, traffic control and water crash barriers will be installed in the far-left lane of Margaret Street. No work will be undertaken in Margaret St, the closure is only required to create a safety exclusion zone.

The piling work will be undertaken within the site area with the piles required to form part of the basement shoring system. This work is required prior to the start of bulk excavation work.

Within the construction area, heavy machinery including piling rigs and concrete trucks will be working and will be visible to passing traffic.
