Money Mondays Darren Reedy, CPA is volunteering to coach families and individuals on financial literacy, @your library.  Sessions are free, but you must pre-register so that we can be prepared.
  • Saving Money: Easy Concept, Difficult Reality. There is no money left at the end of the month, so how are you supposed to save? With the right mind-set, you can develop saving strategies and gain control over your money to create the financial future you desire. March 12 from 7 to 8 pm
  • Managing Your Debt. This session explores how credit works and how debt can impact your future goals. Attend this session to learn about practical ways to take control of your income and reduce debt. March 26 from 7 to 8 pm
  • Are You A Good Financial Role Model?  Young adults are often influenced by their parents’ financial habits. Are you setting the right financial example? Sign up for this session to self-assess your habits and learn about healthy approaches to create a better financial future for yourself and your children. April 9 from 7 to 8 pm
  • How to Teach Your Kids About Money.  Learn about age appropriate “teachable money moments” for kids of all ages – from as young as 5 to young adults. Build your knowledge so you can help guide your child to a future of financial freedom and independence. April 23 from 7 to 8 pm
  • Planning for Retirement.  Will you be able to afford to retire? How much do you need to save? With the right knowledge and the right plan of action, you can get yourself on track to fully enjoy this stage in your life. May 7 from 7 to 8 pm
  • Managing Your Finances in Retirement. Participants will learn the art of budgeting, how to stretch your retirement resources, and why it is so important to manage your finances during retirement. The session is designed for people that are near retirement, in retirement or anyone that is interested in building their financial knowledge to assist ageing family members. May 28 from 7 to 8 pm
