Film/TV Musicians: Submit Your Survey

Local 47 is conducting an anonymous survey of the musicians who are ratifiers of the AFM Theatrical Motion Picture and Television Film national contracts here in Los Angeles.

Those who are part of this bargaining unit should by now have received the survey link via email. Please let us know if you did not receive your survey.

This will provide important guidance to our negotiating team - please participate. Negotiations begin on March 5 - stay tuned for more info.

Together #WeRise National Day of Action

On Monday, February 26, the Supreme Court begins hearing the oral arguments of Janus v. AFSCME, a case that could usher in “Right-to-Work (for less),” a longtime scheme of anti-worker politicians and greedy corporations.

The goal of “Right-to-Work (for less)” is simple: to silence our collective voice by making it harder for working people to come together in unions.

We must stick together! No matter what the Supreme Court decides, no one can take our power if we stand united.

Join union members, community organizations, elected officials, and faith leaders from across Los Angeles for a massive display of unity and power. Together, we can protect all we’ve built: living wages, healthcare, workplace protections, a secure retirement, and a voice on the job.
