Smoking and Vaping kills

This morning a group of MD and MBBS students visited The English School in Nicosia where they presented to 13-year-old students the dangers of smoking and vaping.

The medical students managed to hold the 150 teenagers’ attention throughout by using a multimedia presentation which included video clips, images and statistics applicable to their audience’s age group. At the end of the presentation the high-school students asked many questions.

Congratulations to Mehran Modasser, Manisha Kalpani, Lama ZenEddin, Yogmaya Bakshi, Pik Lau and Kris Sifeldeen.

The medical students were escorted and supervised by Professor Petros Karayiannis and Mr George Sycallides.
