with #NatureForAll Partners

 
#NatureForAll partners are leading some incredible projects, many of which provide an opportunity for others to be involved. Here are just a few to consider.  

Along with 15+ other #NatureForAll partners, The Children and Nature Network is leading the preparation of a global synthesis of the evidence  that links nature experiences with support and action for conservation – to inform conservation policy and action. If you have in-house research (survey results, program evaluations), published, or unpublished reports that can contribute to this knowledge base, or if you want to be an expert reviewer, please let us know!
 

Conservation Music 

In March 2018 Conservation Music began a sea-to-summit eco-educational musical journey from Cape Town, South Africa to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania – called #K2K. The team will be producing multiple songs, music videos, and webseries episodes along their 8 country journey. Want to get involved? Contact their team here.  
 

Passage Adventures

Lucy and Mathilde are increasing awareness of the global issue of marine debris, and to inspire others to take action by kayaking 2000 km from Juneau Alaska, to Vancouver Island in May 2018.  Check in before, during, and after their journey. Sign up for their webinar here

Celebrate the Outdoors on Outdoor Classroom Day 2018!
 
On 17th May and 1st November 2018, schools all around the world are getting outdoors! We only protect what we love, and we only love what we know - by playing outdoors every day children develop a deep attachment to the planet so schools world-wide are celebrating their playtime, taking lessons outside and sharing the love of the outdoors with parents on Outdoor Classroom Day 2018. Engage with #NatureForAll Partners near you.
Regional #NatureForAll networks are beginning to form across the world. Canadian #NatureForAll partners met for the second time in January and partners in the United Kingdom convened their first meeting later the same month. These networks are proving to be a great way for partners to meet one another, understand the shared interests of diverse organizations, and explore new ways of collaborating to scale up efforts to inspire people from all walks of life to love, support, and act for nature.

#NatureForAll at Salzburg Global Seminar Parks For The Planet Forum on Nature and Childhood: From Research and Activism to Policies for Global Change

In early March, 2018, several #NatureForAll partners - the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas, the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication, Outdoor Classroom Day, the Children and Nature Network, the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums, Wildlife Clubs of Kenya, and the Den Grønne Friskole – participated, along with other experts, thought leaders, and advocates, in the fourth session of the Parks for the Planet Forum, hosted by the Salzburg Global Seminar. 
This session focused on nature, childhood, and the role of cities.Together, participants discussed our shared role in connecting children with nature and explored how diverse sectors can work together to implement policies that will create positive change for nature, people, and the planet.
