A Letter From The Glass City Swing Band

Dear GCSB supporters,

There is a lot planned for GCSB this year! We are happy to announce Friday Night Swing. These dances will happen every 3rd Friday of the month. You can always check GCSB's Facebook page and Website for the current dance information. The next dance is scheduled for Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Jeannette American Legion (109 S. 5th Street in Jeannette).

The dance starts at 7:30 PM. $10 donation at the door. Beginner dance lesson at 6:30 PM.

GCSB's Frank Sinatra concert last November was a huge success and we are planning more concerts just like that.

Before telling you about our next concert, GCSB wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Our Sinatra concert was supported in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

Our next concert will be the Third Annual Spring Swing entitled: Pittsburgh Jazz Greats. The concert will be held at the Greensburg Salem Middle School on Main Street in Greensburg, PA on Friday, April 20, 2018 starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets will go on sale February 21, 2018 and can be purchased online, by calling 724-374-3777 or at the door. For more information, you can visit our Facebook event page or our website

Mickey Orange (Featured GCSB member spotlight) will be our special guest providing dancing and singing for a Gene Kelly tribute.

S.C.A.T. (Swinging' with Creative Arts Therapies) will be happening this Fall 2018 and is still planned to be held at Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center (PAC). You can find out all the updated information by going to our S.C.A.T. page located on our website.
