BROWN COUNTY
BOAT LAUNCHY SURVEY

Do you boat or fish on the Fox River or in the Bay of Green Bay, or know someone who does?  Brown County Planning Commission staff would appreciate your feedback if you do!

The Brown County Planning Commission has received funding from a Wisconsin Coastal Management Grant to study the adequacy of the Brown County public boat launch facilities in the bay and on the Fox River.  Planning commission staff will inventory the existing facilities, and analyze how adequately they provide refuge during stormy weather.  The linked survey will help identify potential safety deficiencies at the existing public facilities.

Take the Boat Launch Survey Now!

The survey should take a maximum of five to seven minutes, and will be available online until March 31st, 2018.  The study will continue through the spring, with an anticipated completion date and report available in June of this year.

If you have any questions, technical issues, or would like to know more about the project and the grant, please contact Devin Yoder at devin.yoder@co.brown.wi.us, or (920) 448-6488.

Recycling Update
Recycling Guidelines have been updated by Tri-County Recycling for our collections: Pizza boxes and other food containers that may have grease on them are now recyclable - the recycling paper end markets in our area, including Georgia-Pacific, have found a way to remove the grease and recycle the food stained cardboard. Also, plastic bottle lids are now recyclable if they are on the plastic bottle. Please remove all liquids from the bottles first and replace the plastic lids on the bottles and place them in your recycle bin.
