We had a wonderful time at the first ever Pop-up Bureau last week, seeing a room full of ideas sparking each other. One connection after another, from magical wands in wizard workshops - to sausages and soldiers - to jumping on the cheesy moon! For me, the best connection of all was the one from human to human as we created stories together, feeding off each other's own unique imaginations to create something completely different and new!

So here are a few more things that may or may not spark flow in you this week...

For another show, at the Wardrobe Theatre this Sunday at 2pm. Here, you will draw, we will prance about and say lots of words, and ALL of us will ping around ideas and fuse them all together in a flood of wild adventuring!

With objects!

This week was the first time we took the Pop-up Bureau on a test run in Bristol's local libraries. People were invited to choose 3 items from the Bureau drawers and make up a story inspired by these objects. So we thought you could have a go yourself, at home!

Challenge:

Can you find 3 objects, line them up, and connect them all in your own unique story?

* Here are some pictures of young creators doing exactly that - hatching ingenious plots from the Bureau in Bristol's finest libraries using 3 different objects.
