Wrangler Reading Carnival is Tomorrow!
The Carnival is tomorrow, Feb. 26! Congrats to your kids for reading and earning tickets to use at the carnival. If you are interested in volunteering, we can still use more help, especially between 10-11:15 a.m. during morning kindergarten's time slot. Sign up here.

*Preschoolers will get their free books and prizes from Wrangler Reading on Tuesday since they don’t have school on Monday. 


Dual Immersion Events & Info
Mark your calendars for Dual Immersion Proficiency Night on March 15 at 6 p.m. Celebrate our students' second language learning and see the level of language expected with each grade. We'll have live class performances and videos about dual immersion proficiency. Learn more about the Dual Immersion program and application process here. 

March 21 at 9:30 a.m. - Dual Immersion Tour - come for an introduction to the program, visit a few dual immersion classrooms, then finish with a question and answer session. 

March 21 - the Kindergarten Dual Immersion Lottery Application begins (the online application link will be available closer to the date). 


Kindergarten Registration
Register your incoming kindergartner at the County Health Department on March 21 between 7:30-5:30 p.m. We'll have more information about what you need to bring as the date gets closer. Please spread the word to your neighbors and friends whose oldest children will be kindergartners next year so they will know about registration! *If you can't register your child on the 21st, please contact the school.

Girls on the Run
Come learn about an exciting running program for elementary-aged girls on March 7 at 3:30 p.m. Girls on the Run is held at schools nationwide and teacher Gemma Arro will be leading Midway's group - contact her with any questions: gemma.arrow@wasatch.edu. The first practice will be the following week on March 14 at 3:30 p.m.


School Library Fundraising
We are steadily working toward our goal of $50,000 for improvements to the school library! Thanks to those who have contributed so far! 

Donate to this important project that will enhance learning for all students at our school. Students and parents can also donate coins and cash to fundraising jars that will be in the main office. 


Jafflz Fundraiser

Midway parent Meryl Van Der Merwe owns the local business, Jafflz, which makes all-natural toasted pockets that are available in the freezer section at Ridley's and other local grocery stores. She will donate $1 to the school library fundraiser for every Jafflz wrapper brought in to the box at the school's front office.
