International Travel Insurance
Is your school or town planning a trip abroad this year? Many CIRMA Liability-Auto-Property members sponsor trips abroad for educational, professional, and organizational development. CIRMA's International Travel Insurance Program helps ensure that overseas travel for your sponsored group doesn't bring unforeseen expenses or result in gaps in coverage.
Coverage provided under our International Travel program includes:
- Foreign Commercial General Liability
- Foreign Voluntary Workers' Compensation
- Foreign Commercial Auto Liability
- Kidnap and Ransom/Extortion
- Travel Accident and Health
This program is offered at no direct cost to CIRMA Liability-Auto-Property pool members; however, there are some excluded travel areas and activities where a charge may apply if coverage is desired. Please be sure to contact your CIRMA Underwriter for information on specific exclusions.
We want to make sure that every eligible group takes advantage of this program and the coverages it provides. If your school or employee is planning an overseas trip this year, please contact Colleen White at cwhite@ccm-ct.org or call 203-498-3039 for information on CIRMA's International Travel Package policy. A Travel Package Application must be submitted to CIRMA for every international trip, prior to travel, in order for coverage to be effective.
