Dal 1° febbraio le grandi superfici Laminam entrano nella gallery dei prodotti disponibili per i software BIM in tutto il mondo. Il Building Information Modeling, BIM, è un approccio integrato alla progettazione edilizia che consente ad architetti e addetti ai lavori di ideare e realizzare un edificio con maggiore rapidità, efficienza e controllo. Nei software BIM sono contenute tutte le informazioni utili per ciascuno step di lavoro: architettoniche, strutturali, impiantistiche e gestionali. La progettazione si avvale di modelli di oggetti reali messi a disposizione direttamente dal produttore, il quale fornisce le caratteristiche fisiche, termiche ed estetiche.

As of 1st February, large Laminam surfaces have joined the gallery of products available for BIM software the world over. Building Information Modeling, or BIM, is an integrated approach to construction design which allows architects and industry specialists to design and erect a building with greater speed, efficiency and control. BIM software contains all the information required for every step of the job: architectural, structural, plant engineering and managerial. Designing makes use of models of real objects provided directly by the manufacturer, who supplies the physical, thermal and styling characteristics.

Dal 2018 lo certifica ufficialmente l’EPD di prodotto, la Dichiarazione Ambientale di Prodotto, certificazione indipendente che attesta l’impatto ambientale del ciclo di vita per la fabbricazione di un prodotto (Iso14025). L’EPD prende in esame il consumo di materie prime, di energia e di acqua oltre alla produzione di emissioni inquinanti e di rifiuti derivanti dal processo di fabbricazione della lastra ceramica Laminam. La certificazione inoltre ha confermato che il prodotto finale stesso può vantare proprietà di estrema durabilità nel tempo, riciclabilità, igienicità e assenza di tossicità.
L’EPD è un requisito fondamentale e un elemento di vantaggio per accedere ad altre certificazioni green internazionali in tema di edilizia: LEED (Italia), BREEAM (UK), DGNB (Germania), HQE (Francia) e ad ECO Platform (Associazione Europea per le costruzioni).
La certificazione EPD di prodotto, si unisce a quella di settore già storicamente acquisita dall’azienda.

As of 2018, this is officially certified by the EPD, the Environmental Product Declaration, an independent certification that certifies the environmental life-cycle impact of a product manufacturing (ISO 14025). The EPD analyse the consumption of raw materials, of energy and of water, in addition to the production of polluting emissions and waste deriving from the Laminam ceramic slab manufacturing process. This certification also confirmed that the end product itself can boast extreme durability, recyclability, hygienic and non-toxic properties.
The EPD is a fundamental requisite and an added bonus to access other international green certifications in the construction world: LEED (Italy), BREEAM (UK), DGNB (Germany), HQE (France) and also the ECO Platform (European Association for construction).
The EPD product certification joins the sector-specific certification which the company has already historically acquired.
