A triple whammy

Life has felt a bit stressful lately, with several big things happening at once. We decided to send out a special update to apprise everyone of our needs.
The first is that, for a variety of reasons (and for the purpose of brevity, we won't go into all of them here) we are moving this Saturday! Thankfully, it is only four streets away, as we plan to keep up relationships with the children in our present neighborhood.
Secondly, I (Tonya) was in a car accident a week and a half ago. I was hit by a young man speeding on his motorcycle. It was a traumatic experience, but thankfully he survived, although his leg is broken in three places.
And thirdly, the owner of the house we presently live in decided she wanted all of her furniture back (the original agreement was to rent the home furnished.) So we are left with no furniture for the living room, dining room, and master bedroom. Our new house is smaller, which means we can use the futon for our new living room which is presently in our family room, and we are using the plastic tables and chairs we had purchased for our neighborhood classes as our dining set, but we really do need a bed and would like some nightstands too.

We do have insurance, but the process here is long and arduous and it is doubtful that we will ever receive money for the damage to our car. Since the accident, the transmission isn't working right, the alignment is off, the dashboard lights quit working, and there is significant body damage as you can see in this photo.
The accident freshly reminded us of the inconveniences of being a one-car family, and we would really like to purchase a scooter. They are usually between $500-$1,000.
If you'd like to contribute to any of these needs, you can click on the donate button below and follow the instructions. If you wish, you can designate your gift for something specific, such as "moving costs," "car repairs," etc.

We are ever thankful for all of your support, prayer, and encouragement.

Right now we have no furniture at all for our master bedroom.
We are excited about the possibilities for ministry with the size of this yard and patio!
