Dear Friends,

Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We are so thankful to Jesus for you and our faithful volunteers and partners who stand with us in prayer, support and encouragement for the vision God has given us.  God poured out His Blessings again this year on ATM Christmas Outreach.  It began with a Concert and Banquet and extra places were made available for everyone – great attendance!  The children did an exceptional job in their presentations (photo below).
We thank 700 Club Canada and the Key First Nation for their prayers and generous support in partnering with us to provide gifts for the children and Christmas food hampers for the families. Also a special thank you to event organisers - Dale & Denise Brass.

Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments. Deut. 7:9 NKJV

We thank God for our families and our generations!
Carole and I travelled to Vancouver Island to visit my cousin whom I had recently discovered (top right hand photo).  We had a great time of fun and fellowship!  The past few months have presented many opportunities to be with family and friends either through hospital visits, joyful celebrations, or comforting those who have lost loved ones.
Our son Danny lost his home to fire but we praise God that no lives were lost (top left hand photo)!
On January 29th our 29th grandchild, Watson Moses O’Soup, was born and in December, Rayna O’Soup was born, our 9th great grandchild.  What a blessing from the Lord!
We were also able to attend Carole’s aunt and uncle’s 60th wedding anniversary – Glen & Joyce Goforth of the Peepeekisis First Nation, Saskatchewan; a wonderful couple who have been a great influence in many lives!

In January Carole and I travelled to see our Navajo friends at Ranch Church in Luepp, Arizona.  We also travelled to California to visit with our good friends the Besser Family and Drs. Chris and Cindy Christoval (top photo), who have been a great blessing to the Key First Nation when they have visited and ministered at Almond Tree Ministries.  We thank God for our American friends, partners and ministries and for the unity and fellowship we share because of the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ.
We also visited with David and Coleen Johnson (bottom left photo) our dear neighbours here in Canada who winter in Arizona.
We were blessed, as well, to visit and fellowship with Daniel Chee and his family in Arizona (bottom right photo).  Daniel is one of our board members for U.S. Almond Tree Ministries Inc. and a treasured friend!
Here's What's Happening at Almond Tree Ministries
Prison Ministry - Carole and I continue to minister and visit those in prison as God has called us to do.  Always a wonderful presence of the Lord and a good response from the prisoners.  The chapel is full and many request prayer for their families and for healing.  Carole and I stand in amazement at God’s great love for the lost and the lonely!
Update on church windows and driveway upgrade -  Work has started on the windows and we thank God that the company doing the work has donated two of the windows and many thanks to those who supported this project in prayer and donations.  Four thousand dollars is still needed to complete the windows.  It would be much appreciated if you can help.  We were unable to do any work on the driveway and will need to wait for better weather in the springtime.
Sweetheart Banquet -  February is like the LOVE month, a great time to strengthen relationships with Jesus and with spouses, family and friends!  Once again Almond Tree Ministries presented the “Sweetheart Banquet” with guest speakers Fennesa and Kevin Lins from Onion Lake, Saskatchewan.  Many couples shared testimony as well as Elder Lloyd Dillon from Onion Lake.  Joe Bourque from Caslan, Alberta blessed us with worship. See photos below!
Almond Tree Ministries Bible Institute -  We now have seven full time students and two of these students are living in the dormitory.  They are all doing very well in their studies; a great group working hard, encouraging each other and accomplishing great things for the Lord!  They are being taught the Jerry Savelle Courses and have recently been working on Homeletics, the art of preaching and preparing sermons.  Some of their presenters recently have been Greg Bitely and Ron Hamilton.  John and Ilene Fethkenher will be the presenters from February 26th to March 1st.
Almond Tree Christian Academy -  The students participated in Christmas Celebrations in Yorkton with Christmas Dinner and gifts.  Some of the students helped with this years Christmas Outreach to the Key First Nation and recently all the students enjoyed a winter ski outing at Asessippi Ski Area & Resort in Manitoba.  We thank God for loving and caring for our children as they continue to grow closer to Jesus and realise how special and blessed they are.
Please join us in prayer for:
  • all our students and families to know Jesus personally
  • the hearts touched in our outreaches that they will never grow dim
  • the new windows in our church and an upgraded driveway
  • the prisoners that they will grow in their faith and love of Jesus
Love & Abundant Blessings in Christ,
Allan & Carole O’Soup
