Signs of spring are already in the air. However living in Maine I know better than to fall for them, but it is very refreshing!

2018 - Up and Coming Events - PLEIN AIR / EXHIBITIONS

I am very happy to say that after some plotting and planning Stapleton Kearns has secured and arranged a plein air event in Jeffersonville VT for this March. Some of the Russian artists from the International Plein Air Exhibition in Kostroma will be making the trip over to America to join us in having an exhibition at the Bryan Memorial Gallery.

At the close of last year I was selected as one of the exhibiting artists for the Legacy Gallery Exhibit at Bryan Memorial Gallery in VT beginning in April. Happy to be a part of this group of invited artists!
Been busy working on a selection of Vermont scenes just for this show.

I have applied but waiting to hear back from Cape Elizabeth Land Trust Paint Preservation as to their Auction event in July. Was accepted last year and had a wonderful time. Beautiful area as well as helping a great cause!

Happy to say I have been invited back to Florida's Forgotten Coast Plein Air Event in May. This will be be my 8th year participating. The Forgotten Coast is a rather fun and funky place to paint, has its own natural beauty and is also for a very good cause, thanks in part to Joe Taylor and all of his helpful staff.

Plein Air Easton is the biggest plein air event in the country so naturally I was delighted to be selected into PAE again. This will be my 11th year so even with the dreaded heat of Maryland in July, I am happy to be headed back.

Still a few things in the works, such as an exhibition at Camden Falls Gallery this summer as well as a few other painting trips in the mix.
