Welcome Kathy Moore,
NEW FOCUS COMPTROLLER

Kathleen (Kathy) Moore is the new Comptroller for FOCUS.  
A long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist, she is their current Expense Treasurer, a position she has held since 2010. 
A scientist (not an accountant!) by training, Kathy operates a consulting business in renewable energy meteorology, a business she started in  2000.  "We help people figure out where there is enough sunshine or wind to build a solar or wind energy plant.  Not coincidentally, 2000 was  also the year I started working at the FOCUS Breakfast Program, as a server; I became the Wednesday dishwasher the following year."  Kathy lives in Berne with her spouse, Judy Henningson, who is also Director of Food Programs for FOCUS. "It is humbling to take on the Comptroller’s job after someone as competent and meticulous as Richard Moneymaker. My aim is to maintain  transparency and accuracy in reporting, with the overall goal of supporting the missions of FOCUS."
