From the President
Lisa Bradley: president@a2jaycees.org
I’m Lisa Bradley, your 2017-2018 Chapter President and I am happy to serve this chapter for a second year.  I joined the chapter in May 2014 and was looking for networking opportunities and new friends in the Ann Arbor area.  I quickly got involved the Operations area and became the Operations Vice President in 2016 and then President in 2017 and now 2018!  In my personal life, I am a Senior Credit Administrator at Michigan Business Connection in Ann Arbor and enjoy teaching/taking barre classes, drinking red wine, backpacking
across the country, and hanging with my dogs and hubby.  This organization has brought me so much personal and professional growth and I look forward to seeing the amazing events and impact that we make in the community!
Meet the Board of Directors
Hello fellow Jaycees. My name is Zachary McIntyre and I'm your 2018 Treasurer.
I've been a Jaycee since 2017 when I joined after a successful Eggstravaganza volunteer event where I spent the whole day surrounded by cute baby bunnies. I'm an Engineer by day and a handyman by night. I enjoy long sits on my couch, a good cheese and exploring the world. treasurer@a2jaycees.org
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Erika Griffith, one of your directors for this year. I work at Michigan Medicine and tend to be working on different crafting projects. My focus for this year is finding out what members are passionate about and helping plan projects around those passions. Outside of the Jaycees, I'm usually knitting, watching bad movies, or playing video games. I live in Dexter with my cat Dickens. You can reach me at (enter director email, I don't know what it is).
Fellow Ann Arbor Jaycees, I am pleased to serve you as a member of your 2018 Board. Having been around a few years, I believe most of you know me, but let's recap: I grew up in Saline and recently moved back there. I work as an economist in the automotive industry, and previously worked in and volunteered with several local governments. I officially joined the Jaycees in March 2016, having first met the chapter at the inaugural Super Hero Bar Crawl the previous August. In the time since, I have chaired or co-chaired multiple projects, and generally assisted our initiatives and community involvement whenever possible. I look forward to supporting the chapter - and each of you - throughout this year.
Hey all! I’m your 2018 Vice President of Operations, Emily Bush. I am just about to be going on my third year with the Ann Arbor Jaycees. Last year, I was also our Vice President of Operations, and the year prior to that, I chaired our Carnival event under Lisa, was part of the committee for Superhero Bar Crawl, and attending as many events as possible, including our National Conference in Detroit. On the personal side of things, I have recently begun working at Kellogg Eye Center as an ophthalmic technician and will become a permanent employee mid-April (woohoo!), but I can still get you free drinks at Seva. I also love to travel, love animals, am a mushroom-hatin’ vegetarian, love to crochet infinity scarves for people, and am currently reigniting my love for horseback riding. I am thrilled to be a part of this organization and looking forward to working with you all in the future. Having so many new members this early in the year is exciting to say the least, and I can't wait to see what everyone brings to the table!

Events: look out for Speed Friending in early April.

Upcoming Event: A2JCs Build with Habitat for Humanity
Volunteer. Fun. Community.
Three words I intend to use a lot this year as we find new and fun ways to engage, provide support, and empower ourselves as active citizens in and around Ann Arbor. This month we are kicking off that theme by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Sign Up here and follow the event on Facebook. Watch out for upcoming ways to support the 4th of July parade committee as well!
