Registration is now open for Rinehart Clinic’s no-cost Living Well with Chronic Conditions workshop series

March 13 - April 17, 2018

Are you looking for a way to better manage your chronic health conditions? Rinehart Clinic is offering a no-cost six-week workshop series that offers supportive tools to help you continue your daily activities. The class will also focus on coping with the difficult emotions that sometimes accompany chronic health conditions.

Class instructors are Terra Marzano, Rinehart Clinic's Behavioral Health Director and Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Denise Weiss, Quality Director and Registered Nurse.

Rinehart Clinic seeks community participation to help plan for future expansion

The Rinehart Clinic rents our clinic space from the Nehalem Bay Health District for $55,000 per year. As part of our budget and strategic planning process, the Rinehart Clinic Board of Directors has created a Property Development Sub-Committee. If you are interested in assisting the Clinic with planning for the expansion of our present location or in helping to develop new location possibilities, please email Brooke Hua at bhua@rinehartclinic.org by March 16.

Weighty Discussion starting soon

Rinehart Clinic offers a Weighty Discussion class series twice a year for patients who are interested in working with others to help lose weight safely and gradually. The next 8-week session begins March 16. If you are interested in participating, please call Joyce at 1-800-368-5182, Ext. 145.

On a related note...

Are you interested in joining TOPS? Some of our patients have suggested that we consider starting a TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter here at the clinic. The chapter would be open to anyone in the community. Before moving forward, we wanted to determine how much interest there might be community-wide.

What is TOPS? A hands-on, pounds-off approach to weight loss® that provides tools, information, support, and accountability to help you be successful. For more information, visit www.tops.org.

Is there a charge? Yes, TOPS charges members an annual fee of $32 for exclusive member benefits (including meal plans and educational resources). There is also at $5 monthly chapter fee.

Safe (and free!) disposal of needles and sharps at our pharmacy

Rinehart Pharmacy will safely dispose of your used needles and sharps. Just stop by the pharmacy and ask for a special container. Place your used needles in the container and when it is full, return it to Rinehart Pharmacy for safe disposal.

This program is available to everyone - you do not need to be a Rinehart Clinic & Pharmacy patient or customer.
