AOFYE Hugh Manatee Award
First time convention attendees, we want to hear about YOUR Houston conference experience! In 140 characters or less tell us about your first time experience at the ACPA 2018 Convention using the hashtag, #AOFYEFT18. Submissions will be accepted until Saturday, March 17 at 12 am. Submission winner will receive the AOFYE Hugh Manatee award. Pictures with the AOFYE mascot Hugh are encouraged! Follow us at @ACPA_AOFYE on twitter.

AOFYE Research Grant Winner
In partnership with the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition, AOFYE is proud to announce that Dr. Demetri Morgan and his research team are this year's winner of the AOFYE research grant for their project titled Realizing the Educational Benefits of Diversity through Geo-Spatial Mapping Technology.  Dr. Morgan and his team will be honored at the AOFYE Open Business Meeting at the ACPA Annual Conference in Houston, TX, on March 12, from 2:45-3:45pm, in Hilton Americas, Grand Ballroom G.
