Guest Artist Workshop
with New Zealand legend
Richard Parker

Join us for this unique workshop using gutsy terracotta and sensual white slip. Parker’s bold and innovative construction and throwing techniques will inspire you, his expressive surfaces will delight the senses and rich discussion with this experienced educator will engage you and point the way to a lifetime in clay.

Saturday 28 April
10am - 4pm
$165 Early Bird, FT potter/student
$195 Normal Price

This one-day workshop is a rare chance to see/hear this living legend in action. Parker’s key developments will be covered and
he will demonstrate a range of his iconic hand built and wheel thrown forms,
such as his wire-cut slab forms with "milked" rims, and his luscious applied slip-decorating techniques. He is an experienced, open and generous educator sharing all he can from a lifetime of working with clay.
This is one workshop not to miss.
There will also be time for a mystery activity designed to loosen you up!
