UPCOMING EVENTS AND ITEMS OF PARTICULAR NOTE

A WORD ABOUT PANHANDLERS.  Being a downtown church, from time to time, panhandlers may approach you after Mass, looking for money.  In such a case, it is best that you refer them to the clergy.  We have the ability to respond to their needs in an appropriate way, and oftentimes can identify those whom we have already helped.  St James’ gives generously to those in need in our community, but it is best that we do this in a systematic way.

THE NEXT DATE FOR BAPTISMS is Sunday, April 8th.  Paperwork is available from the Parish Office.

IF YOU HAVE FLOWER VASES AT HOME, please bring them to church.  We will use them for flowers for the homebound.

CAMP ALL SAINTS’, the Diocese of Dallas summer camp is an affordable, Christian summer opportunity for children of all ages.  More information can be found here: http://www.campallsaints.com/summercampschedule/parent-information-letter.html
Scholarships may be available.  Please speak to the Rector.

VIGIL MUSIC SPONSORSHIPS.  We are planning to have strings at the Easter Vigil.  If you would like to help underwrite the music at the “Queen of Feasts,” please use one of the Discretionary Fund envelopes in the pews, and clearly mark your intentions on the envelope.   You may give the gift of music in honor of someone living, or in memory of someone departed.  Names will be listed in the Vigil bulletin.
