A Charcoal Scrub for Drinking Water

Research funded by the Harmful Algal Bloom Research Initiative (HABRI) continues to fine-tune instructions for use of activated carbon in cleaning algal toxins out of drinking water.

Going for Gold

Westlake Girl Scout Nina Wilkinson earned a Gold Award for a marine debris project in 2017. Ohio Sea Grant Extension Educator Sarah Orlando served as her project advisor.
