We need to be creating communities where children and young people feel welcome and people help each other out in creating safe and inclusive neighbourhoods.

NAPCAN, yourtown and kidshelpline are each doing wonderful work in communities supporting children and young people across Australia.

How to promote public Neighbour Day events –
for FREE!!
Many of you have asked us whether we can provide a public noticeboard to help promote your Neighbour Day celebrations. Our good friends at Nabo have offered to help us (and you) out!
Nabo is an awesome Very Neighbourly Organisation and an online service that connects neighbours to build stronger communities. Nabo works for residents, community groups and local councils and has over 300,000 members around Australia. This makes it a great place to act as our noticeboard for Neighbour Day events!
Not only will Nabo be a noticeboard for your Neighbour Day events, but Nabo will also promote Neighbour Day events to local communities. By placing your event on Nabo, it will be highlighted to their local members in weekly emails, it will be visible on search engines and Nabo will be running competitions to drive more members to events.
