Introducing: The Wishbone Buddy Bench

Our colourful, distinct Buddy Bench is a simple idea to reduce loneliness and foster new friendships on the playground.

Alternatively known as “friendship benches” these are special places to sit when a child feels the need for a friend to talk to. Usually located in well-traversed and open areas, when a child sits on this bench other children and staff will see this a sign that some support or comfort is needed. From seemingly small matters to more serious concerns, a Buddy Bench encourages children to ask for help when they need it most.

Wishbone Demo Trailer tour of US West Coast

We love meeting people, interacting, creating and celebrating community. This year the Wishbone Demo Trailer – our showroom on wheels - is touring the US West Coast through Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada. When we visit with Landscape Architecture and Design firms we showcase our newest outdoor site furniture, answer numerous questions, and take suggestions. Most importantly, we like to share stories and photographs of local projects that demonstrate Wishbone’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction!

Upcoming Event: BCRPA Spring Training

Spring Training 2018 is happening Wednesday, February 28 (Horticulture Day), and Thursday, March 1, 2018 (Maintenance Day) at the Coast Hotel & Convention Centre, 20393 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC.

As always, Wishbone is pleased to support BC Parks and Recreation. We will be in attendance on Maintenance Day to talk shop and answer questions about our municipal-grade outdoor site furnishings.
