The first newsletter back for 2018 and we have begun our new project in Ivanhoe East.
A stunning 1940's Art Deco home with original features throughout about to be restored to it's original beauty with high end design by Pleysier Perkins.
The team got a well deserved break and we are ready to hit the ground running with another busy year planned.

Current Project Status -
Ivanhoe East the demolition and complete strip out has begun, and we are now propping up the roof and 1st floor joists to make wide open spaces.
Camberwell got given a front yard transformation with new recycled brick fence, exposed agg driveway, rendered blockwork walls, new lawn and garden beds to bring this 1920's home back to life!
Northcote tiling has nearly been completed, the joinery is in and the landscapers have arrived. With move in roughly four weeks away the clients couldn't be more excited!
Reservoir has been handed over and our clients are thrilled! Finished photos with the beautiful views will be published next month once we furnish it.
Surrey Hills is going strong with the plaster going in, outside being painted and the cabinet maker measuring up as we speak. Aiming for handover in May and really pumped to get this one complete.
Thornbury is really starting to show it's true colours with all the external work complete, flooring going in and these places will be getting cleaned up in the next few months ready for handover. Great job by Cubo Group!

Overview - Combining contemporary design cues with heritage features, number thirty nine is going to shape up to be one of our best projects to date.
The scope is wholesome and leaves no stone unturned in the quest to revive the 1940’s post war home that exists. We will be stripping back to frame in the existing, and opening up the lower ground spaces with expansive structural propping and steel work. The entire home has high end architectural detail by Pleysier Perkins throughout.
The outdoors will be lined with beautiful greenery, crazy paving, pool and a plant list that will wow any horticulturist. This project will be one to watch over the next 9 months for sure. This progressive build will involve a raft of specialist trades and products to implement over the job. Watch this space.

Overview - Built in 1927, this stunning California Bungalow is full of it's original features, 3 metre high ceilings, original windows, flooring, walls, doors and everything else. The client has decided to restore this timber home to all its glory and extend with a modern, architectural open plan living area. We will build a second storey above the extension with 3 bedrooms, bathroom and a retreat upstairs which will seperate the original classic weatherboard and create a perfect contrast between Architectural and Heritage.

Overview - Knock down and rebuild of a classic Victorian weatherboard home in Northcote. The client wants to keep the original design of their home, but the cost to re-engineer it for a second storey on a highly reactive site was going to be tough and expensive. They elected to knock it down and this way can have a custom made family home and their own block of land.

Overview - A job that has been stuck in Town Planning for over 3 years, we will finally be able to revive this triple storey townhouse and extend the top two balconies. With a new kitchen, bathroom, ensuite and outdoor entertaining areas to come too!

Overview - A project designed and managed by Rod Neil Architects, this beautiful weatherboard home in Surrey Hills will get an external face lift with some great new roof lines and inbuilt rooms in the existing ceiling spaces. A large second storey extension is just what this ever growing family requires with a new living and kitchen area downstairs.
